--That's her nickname Scott started calling her as soon as we saw her in Ethiopia-as in sister, not as in "you're a wimp". But, lately.... Anyway, look at this picture. This is what Ava's been doing a lot of lately. Crying. When she tries something new, she cries. Here, she's trying Isaac's push car for about five seconds and crying the whole time. We've been trying to get her to walk--and boy is she ready to walk! Scott will sit about three feet across from me and get her to stand. Then, she actually throws herself down into a sitting position because she doesn't want to walk on her own. Then, cue the tears. This little girl is stubborn. An hour before she was walking all around the house only holding on to my one hand. Patience, patience, patience....
