Ava and Isaac's Baptism

Isn't she the most adorable baby in the world in her baptism dress?  Too cute!

Marc and Tina are Isaac's God Parents

Laura and Brian (who is in Japan and refused to fly in for the event) are Ava's God Parents

Father Fischer poured Holy Water over Isaac's head but Mom missed that part with the camera.

And Ava too.

Ava and Isaac were baptised at St. Titus Catholic Church on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at  11:30.  We went to mass first and sat above in the children's section by my dad's request.  The kid's were pretty good, but it was very hot up there.  Grace, their cousin, kept laughing at Ava--it was pretty funny to hear her laughing over the church silence.  Graham crackers and Trix kept everyone at bay for most of the time.

The visiting priest was wonderful at explaining the baptismal ceremony to everyone.  He was a retired priest from Erie.  Both Ava and Isaac whined and were antsy during this part of the day.  They were over it.  Luckily, Father Fischer just kept on going and talked right over them.  He didn't miss a beat.  You could tell he's done this for awhile.

We're very happy they are both baptised and apart of the church.
