Ava had tubes placed in her ears about three weeks ago and what a difference it's made! She smiles and laughs more. She is saying more words like "puppy, sky-blue, I cold, I hot, booger, nanny" (this means nasty--she usually says this when we change her diaper).
Isaac taught Ava how to pick out matching shoes and wear them around the house --unsuccessfully. In the pics below, Ava did quite a nice job of wearing slippers (instead of shoes), eating a cookie and traipsing around the kitchen all at the same time--successfully.
